YWCC
Department Head: Missionary Jeanette A. Watkins
The Mission:
To provide a forum that encourages spiritual growth and development as it empowers young women to
live a holy life; to explore the Christian approach of addressing and ministering to the vital concerns and
specific needs of young women in church today.
Aim or Goals
1. To encourage young women to get into the Word of God, apply Bible
truths to their lives, thereby enabling them to live victoriously through Christ.
2. To promote Christian fellowship which does not encompass just eating and socializing together,
but sharing in a partnership with each other in Christ. As we are partakers in the life and work of
Christ, we acknowledge the need to share our lives with one another on a personal level.
3. To instruct, develop and assist young women in outreach and evangelism, as we are committed to
active ministry both internally and externally for the sanctifying, unifying and edifying of the body of
Christ and to the Glory of God.– soul winning, mission
