Arkansas Second Jurisdiction COGIC Announces the Inauguration of Bishop
Frank J. Anderson, Jr.
(Little Rock, AR) The Church of God in Christ, AR Second Jurisdiction will celebrate the
Inauguration of Bishop Frank J. Anderson who has succeeded Bishop Donne L. Lindsey as the
Presiding Prelate of the Jurisdiction.
Bishop Anderson has served as the Jurisdiction’s First Administrative Assistant to the Bishop under
the administration of Bishop Lindsey for many years. Anderson’s consecration as Bishop took place
in November 2009 during the 101st International Holy Convocation in Memphis, TN. This
consecration was also shared with another Arkansas Bishop, Bishop Jewel Withers being
consecrated as well.
The keynote speaker for this celebration is Bishop Charles E. Blake. Blake is the
International Presiding Prelate of the Church of God In Christ and an Arkansas
native. Blake is also Senior Pastor of West Angeles Church of God in Christ which
serves a congregation of more than 20,000 in Los Angeles, California.
This Inaugural Banquet will take place at Friday, February 26, 2010 at the
Robinson Center Exhibition Hall at 7 PM.
