Dear Friends:
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so glad that we are now into
the glorious New Year of 2008. The Almighty has blessed us to witness it and we should be thankful for
his mercies are new every morning.
This webpage is an attempt to keep you informed of what is happening within our jurisdiction. I do
hope that you will be able to get the various directives from my office in a timely and efficient manner.
We are excited about the upcoming jurisdictional planning conference to be held January 9-11, at the
New Calvary Temple Church of God in Christ. I would like to encourage all of our district and state
workers to be present for training and spiritual enrichment. The schedule of activities is listed on the
home page (www.ar2cogic.com), of our jurisdictional website. I want to encourage you to look at this
webpage on a regular basis as we will keep you informed of jurisdictional and national COGIC events
and information.
In addition, this month we will celebrate the installation of the newly-elected Presiding Bishop of our
denomination, Bishop Charles E. Blake. This event will take place on Wednesday, January 23, in St.
Louis, Missouri at the National Leadership Conference. This information is listed on this website as
well.
